Cpu Fan Help

I Have A Hp Pavillion A335W Desktop Pc And My Cpu Fan Runs Wide Open On All Linux Is There A way To Fix It Cause It Doesnt Do This On Window$

do you mean it is suposed to change the fan speed depending on the Temp? if so do you have APM enabled...Also what distro are you using? I could give you more specific instructions

My Distro Is Mepis My Fav but it does it on all distro's it only runs calm on window$

Just ignore it because LINUX uses 100% of your computer instead of 70% to 80% that Windows uses. You can use lmsensors to change the speed of the fan.

Thats A Load Of BS cause it only does i on this com all i need is to change acpi over to apm and its fix but hows the question
