combo wifi printer: what's supported?

I consider buying one of these combo wifi printers (printer+scanner and maybe a fax), but what's supported by linux and particularly by debian (which I use)?.

A main consideration for me is the ease of setup: I really dont want to start messing with config files, downloading drivers, and endless hours of trial and error.

Suggestions?

TIA

The easiest way is look at the manufactures site and see if thy supply it with a driver. HP has the best support, or simply share the printer from a M$ box.
