Can I run G11 keyboard on linux

I have a G11 keyboard and I would like to get it to run on Linux I found a website that has the way to do it for Ubuntu at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LogitechG15. But it seems to only be for Ubuntu (well at least not PClinuxOS) there are servial problems when tiring to install first of the files libdaemon-dev and build-essential I can't seem to find in synaptic. I can do most of the other stuff it seems to install but any way I was wondering if anyone knew how I can fix it..

Thank you all..

The G15 drivers are not specific to any distribution, and the dependencies will not necessarily have the same name in another distro. Just try and build the drivers and see what happens; they are pretty simplistic so I doubt you will have any serious problems.

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Are any of the G15 components available as binaries in your distribution? How did you get g15daemon installed?
