Can't find appropriate WiFi device

Hello, I'm looking for a PCI-e WiFi (802.11g) device to go inside my deskop. I only want to use one which can work with Debian using free firmware. I can find many which use Mini PCI-e (i.e. Realtek RTL8187), but none for the standard size. Does anybody know any cards I could use? Thanks.

What do you mean by "standard size"? Do you mean a PCI card?

Also, your motherboard could likely support a PCI Express card--what do your motherboard's docs say (they should be available from the manufacturer's website)?

If you can find one with an Intel chipset, that would likely work nicely with any Linux. Intel's Linux support is generally excellent.

If you're in the U.S. Radio Shack has a usb wireless that works well in Debian for about $24.

There's also ThinkPenguin. Their stuff is guaranteed to work with Linux.

I just ordered a USB wireless dongle from them because the wireless card in one of my laptops died and it seemed the easiest choice, but it hasn't arrived yet.

TP-LINK cards use Atheros chips which are supported by Linux, these are what I use.
