BIOS +hard drive size

I have a VIA EPIA motherboard with 2 250GB HDD installed in a RAID 1 setup.
I am running Ubuntu server and Linux detects the size of the HDD's to 250GB.
But my motherboard BIOS only shows 136GB per drive.

Everything seems to work fine but I would like to know if this is something I need to rectify or if it is better "not to fix something that is not broken".

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Linux kernel does not use BIOS to access hard disks. Consequently, BIOS limitation does not affect how Linux runs. It however may stop the OS from booting if your boot partition is located behind that 136 GB limit. If you have a rather small boot partition in the beginning of HDD then there is nothing to worry about.

Thanks for your reply!
My boot partition is at the "front" of the partition and I have had no problems booting. So I will leave things as they are!
