BIOS and hard drive size
I've been told by a few people that Linux does not use the motherboard's BIOS, and that I could use any size hard drive in the system.
The last available BIOS for the motherboard (Pentium CPU) was in July 1998, and I've read that normally, the largest hard drive it would accommodate is 32 Gb. The system currently has a 6.5 Gb hard drive.
Would anyone know if this is the case, and that it would be possible to use any size hard drive (where Linux would recognize the entire drive, and not up to 32 Gb)?
Thanks!
