I have a Sony PCG-F560 notebook running Ubuntu 8.04. The wireless card I've been using is a Belkin F5D7010 ver4000. I want to use the Linksys WUSB11 when I need a little better range but I can't seem to get it installed.
The Belkin card was installed with ndiswrapper using these instructions

I attempted to install the Linksys adapter with these instructions

There are several drivers in the file from Linksys for Windows98, 2K, and XP but it's a little hard to tell which ones are used for what. Whichever way I do it, I end up with the same result. The adapter is recognized and I see the wireless networks but I can't connect to them. Ultimately, the whole system locks up and I have to use the power button to turn it off. Any ideas on how I should do this or even if it's posible?
Thanks,
Chris
