Hi,
I recently bought Syncmaster 204b and found out that it has bug related to DVI connection on high resolution. Display blinks and there is no possibility to work.
I found some resolutions to that problem but all of them were related to NVIDIA drivers. The trick is to lower the refresh rate from 60Hz to 56Hz. After some tests here is the resolution for ATI driver.
in /etc/xorg.conf, Required sections look like this:
Code:

Of course you may use "ati" driver instead of "radeon" Ati driver recognizes card and loads required driver.
Screen is not blinking any more!
I hope this will help somoebody
