ATI on Debian, driver stopped working

Hey all.

I'd installed the Debian Non-free ATI driver, and all was well.

After a few reboots, I noticed that the screen was refreshing as quickly as usual. I ran glxinfo and now direct rendering doesn't seem to be working.

Code:
gav@r2d2:~$ glxinfo |grep direct
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
direct rendering: No
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
gav@r2d2:~$
I don't know where to begin to troubleshoot this problem. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

First off, what's your X version
Post up your xorg.conf please
and do a login to konsole, and then run startx, then post the end of /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Thanks for responding:

Code:
# /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the /etc/X11/xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man /etc/X11/xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
