Ati 9100

Has anyone tried to make an ATI 9100 run under Linux? Although the card is identical to 8500LE (both share the R200 chip) , the 8500 drivers will not work.

I upgraded from ATI Rage Pro under Red Hat 9 to the ATI 9100 with few problems. The only problem I had was this is my secondary PC and it has integrated graphics with the Intel 810 chipset. There are know problems and work arounds for that.

Try disabling 3D Hardware acceleration. I plan on testing out an Nvidia card latter because I hear that Nvidia is much better when it comes to providing drivers and 3D graphics. Although, I don't think I can find an Nvidia PCI card as fast as the ATI card in my price range.
