Hi Guys,
Tried installing CentOS 6.2 in my p.c (Mother Board is Asus p5g41T MLX ). NIC is not detected in that. Otherwise the installation was flawless.

Tried deleting /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules file and rebooted my system.
as i found out it could help in one of my googlings but that didnt help too..
a new persistent file was created after reboot but still no sign of eth0.

Another finding is that there is no "ifcfg-eth0" file in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/.
The file present in there is "ifcfg-lo"
