Tried deleting /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules file and rebooted my system.
as i found out it could help in one of my googlings but that didnt help too.. a new persistent file was created after reboot but still no sign of eth0. |
Another finding is that there is no "ifcfg-eth0" file in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/.
The file present in there is "ifcfg-lo" |
are you using a 64-bit system or distribution?

if using 32-bit system this package is for you
http://jur-linux.org/download/elrepo...lrepo.i686.rpm if using 64-bit system this package is for you http://jur-linux.org/download/elrepo...epo.x86_64.rpm and -from the internet- I think this issue is solved with version 6.3 |
