Alcatel Speed Touch PC drivers?


Where find a alcatel speed touch pc drivers for mandrake 8.2?

What do you mean? It's an external modem. You don't need drivers. Just set it up as (A)DSL.

It is an internal modem. I need drivers

Do you mean the USB version? That'll need drivers.

You may need to edit some files to make it work!

Try this page..

It's for the USB, but the rest of the driver setup should be the same.

speedtouch howto

As I recall, there was an issue with Mandrake 8 having a symlink instead of a real RPM for the kernel module. Think it's been fixed. You shouldn't need to do the recompile, but the rest of the document should get you started.
