i have acermodem 56 which is external modem and its model is ame-tt00. can u suggest how to make it work in linux fedora core. i am newbie in linux and i hav installed fedora just now.
Run kppp dialer program if you have it. Click setup, then choose your serial port (/dev/ttyS0 (COM1), /dev/ttyS1 (COM2) ...). Then click 'Query modem' to check if it's the right one.
