64-bit processors

Hello all, I'm looking for some insight into the 2-way Intel Xeon EM64T processors and the 2-way Opteron64, which is better for certain uses etc. Any and all tid bits of info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I have heard that the Opteron mops the floor with Xeon is regards to performance. Although that is just heresay.

AMD's prices are normally lower than Intel's though, so that might also be a factor to consider.
