Best Linux for 64 Bit Processors

My system includes.

GeForce4 Ti4600
SATA 300 gb drive
Logitech Wireless Keyboard/Mouse
VIA AC'97 Enhanced Sound card

Which Linux distribution would be best for my system.

I use and recommend both:
http://www.debian.org/ports/amd64/
http://kanotix.com/index.php?&newlang=eng

Kanotix64 would be better for a newbie.

I'm using Open SuSE 10.0 x86_64, supports hardware well, it's easy to install, easy to use.

If you just want Linux to run on amd64 then any distro will do
(running in 32bit).
However, to take advantage of the extra cpu bandwidth/speed/features,
a 64bit kernel with a 64bit userland is required.
Hence my recommendions.
