xterm

Is it possibe to change the port that xterm uses to connect to an x server. Ive checked the man page for xterm but this was no help.

I have changed the port of my x server from 6000 to bypass a firewall issue with the client

Thanks

well it's the X protocol that uses port 6000. i would suggest looking at using an ssh tunnel for the relevant ports.
