Lightbulb WineX INSTEAD of Wine?

I have WineX and Wine and I don't want to fuss around with getting both of them isntalled. I use Wine right now to run games only, I don't have a need for any Windows apps yet, but I know I will. I want good performance for games so I want to try WineX, but if I need to use Photoshop or some other Windows app will WineX be able to run it as well as Wine?

you'll have problems trying to get photoshop running in either...if you want to have a stable copy of photoshop running then you'll have to get codeweavers crossover office which is not free....i can tell you right now that you won't (as of now) get photoshop 7 working with wine(x) but with time put into it and a little bit of tweaking you'll be able to get photoshop 6 running (if your lucky ) cause it has been done before...

as of comparison, winex is built for games so if its running in wine, then it should (you would think) have no problem running with winex....i have seen some windows apps run with winex (obviously not all of them, so i can't vouch for every one) so you should really have that much of a problem if you just want to use winex...
