Winex 3.3 and ati 3.7.0

I use mandrake 9.2 . I have an ati 9600 pro radeon card which after a lot of work i got it working with 3d accelaration (FPS ~ 4800 in glxgears) . I download winex 3.3 and installed Max payne 2 succesfully. BUT in the intro screen is amazingly slow and it crashes after a couple of seconds! I've heard that it might be the 3.7.0 drivers for my ati radeon? Is this true? I've been trying to download the 3.2.8 drivers but couldn't find them anywhere! Can someone help me ?

Strange. I've installed warcraft 3 and worked fine.Maybe it was because i rebooted. Another thing: I have a tv connected @ my radeon 9600 pro. Although everything looks fine when kde loads i c some strange lines and colors in my tv despite the fact that during fglrxconfig i choose not tv , only single display. Is this hapening 2 u 2?

I've tried the 3.2.8 but they gave me about 200 FPS less in glxgears. Also the tv out problem didn't fix so i switxhed back 2 3.7.0. I've managed to make max payne 2 work by running fglrxconfgi and near the end of the questions it asks u about compatibility modes saying something about winex and vm. Just pick that and the game runs smoothly
