How am i supposed to properly configure WIne so it opens most of my Windows applications. My goal is to get star craft and diablo II to work, but i cant even get Winamp working.
Originally posted by Air-Falcon How did you get star craft to work ? for mine, when i goto use the EXE it says insert CD....
yes you need to have the cd inserted in the cdrom. don't forget to mount the cd if you don't have automount.

But, i dont get the winhq one, i already went there, and i cant find anything in the config file to change. :?
use Frankscorner. i think that it is a better howto. it even gives you a tarball of the fake C: drive. then it walks you thru the config and even give you a tarball of the config file.
hope that this helps
i can give no more help. sorry. these tools were all i needed. maybe there is a step that you missed. i would suggest going thru the howto and writing everything step-by-step and then following it to a "t".
