Question Windows Key sometimes.. and sometimes not.

I'm running Fedora 7 and since Fedora 1 I have always mapped my Windows-E and Windows-F to Konqueror and Find programs.

In recent times I have noticed that when I boot into KDE that the windows key no longer operates.

But then the next day, it does.

Every day is different. Something is weird. Anyone have any idea why the situation keeps flip-flopping?

I have been a few days without my windows key, and today, the windows key shortcuts work again. So so strange. Has anyone at least got a guess here?

Are kde shortcuts conflicting with something else maybe x11 shortcut and depending which loads first, takes priority?

This is pure speculation as I have absolutely no idea.
