where to download xlib and libc


I'm new to linux and I'm tring to do some programming on it. but there is some LIB not installed or messing and I can't find them.
can some one guide me plz.

xlib and libc sound kinda broad. What are you trying to do? Use a specfic compiler? Give us a little more information. You might be looking for the wrong thing, or what you are looking for is not exact enough. Other than that, when you find exactally what you are looking for use google and search for it. Always works. Check out Freshmeat and Sourceforge. Chances are you can google it up..
