What terminal or shell colours do you use?

Green on black = general shell
red on black = shelling in as root to a server
gold on black = media, irc

what colours do you use?

I generally use grey on black for remote sessions; most times, those are myself using SSH from my mobile to do routine maintenance.

Using a local terminal, my prompt is bright green, and text entered remains grey, except for item distinction when using ls; colours are pretty well default (bright red for archives, magenta for media, blue for folders, etc).

I use different colours for root and non-root terminal emulators but they are all dark (nearly black) on pale and no ls output candy. I actually prefer light-on-black but it is too much contrast when switching from the usual black-on-white windows and I haven't figured out how to change everything to light-on-black. I don't think OOo can be changed.
