Using linux commands in windows [solved]

I wasn't sure where to put this thread so feel free to move it.

I installed vmware with windows so I could use photoshop CS. I'm doing some housekeeping and really wish I had a linux terminal to help. I did some google searches but all I came up with was for DOS/Windows users to get more comfortable with linux, but I need to get more comfortable with windows. I was wondering if there was a program that would allow me to use linux commands in windows, or if I can just edit some text file.

Honestly in the five months that I have been using linux I have learned more than my 15 years of using dos/windows and forgot just as much.

Any help would be appreciated.
