USB descriptor read error = ?

During boot, MEPIS always says one of my USB devices (or ports) has a "descriptor read error." What does that mean? I'm not sure it's important, because the only two USB devices I have plugged in at this time work fine.

Hi newbiesforever, What kernel version are you using? There was a known bug in 2.6.10 that acted as such, but was non-fatal.
Good luck. ;-)
