URGENT: Grub Boot Problem

Ok, I formatted my linux drives without thinking about GRUB...now here is the error I get when I turn on my computer:

GRUB version 0.93 (693k lower/261056k upper memory)

[Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anwhere else TAB lists the possible completions of a device/filename]

grub>

All I want is to be able to boot into Windows...then reinstall linux later

Can you boot into Linux? If so, edit your grub.conf file to add your Windows to boot to.

On a side note, I'd like to ask that you don't mark your threads as urgent. Members here answer questions in their own spare time for free. Be considerate and patient and most likely you will get a response. But when you post that your problem is urgent, it only comes off as inconsiderate and rude like. And please don't think I'm picking on you, I post this same response on any thread that states its urgent or the such. Regards.

Make sure windows partition is set to active, boot with any dos bootdisk then "fdisk /mbr".

you need a dos bootdisk with fdisk utility, but yea a fixmbr in recovery console should do the same thing.

Btw you should still be able boot windows by doing this in grub prompt:

rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
boot

but that won't get rid of grub
note change the (hd0,0) to wherever your windows partition is. eg (hd0,1) for first disk second partition, and so on.
