Uninstall?

I was just wondering if it's possible to uninstall a Linux or Windows OS w/o much work. I wanted to start out w/ either Slackware or Mandrake but i don't know which one yet so i'm just burning both images. If i start to run into problems w/ one, then i wanna know how i can uninstall it and try the other. or, on the other, better hand, if i like Linux enough to uninstall Windows and just have a distro of Linux on it. so how tough is it and how would i go about doing it?

To unistall the os
just delete the partition containing the os,(just that all the data will be deleted too).

Actually, it should be even easier. Let's say you install Mandrake and partition your hard drive the way you like. Then you decide it isn't for you and install Slack. You should be able to just reuse your existing partitions and Slack will install right over them. Just pretend you used fdisk and run setup, think.

But yeah, if you *want* to delete partitions, fdisk or Windows will delete any partition of whatever type. fdisk in Linux or Windows9x and diskpart in NT.
