Turning on ALSA support for splay by default. ?

Is there a way for turning on ALSA support for splay by default?

sorry for not answering question....but command ....aplay...works with ALSA.

I just d/l splay and could not get it to work with any of my /dev/snd devices.

it would be great that splay has a .splayrc

I guess that once I could find one with some config to tell splay to use alsa instead
