Stop Startup Process

Everytime I login I have to kill a startup process... Is there a command to disable the process for good, so that particular pid never starts up automatically again? Thanks!

what startup process is it?? what distro are you using??

This is the process:
root 2785 0.1 2.7 32516 14296 ? S 18:31 0:00 kdeinit: knotify

Using FC2 & KDE 3.2... Thanks!
