Starting Samba1


How can I make it where Samba starts everytime?

At the command propt type 'ntsysv'

Turn on any sevice you wantto start automatically

Hum what's this command Kaiser? I will try it heheh.
Well I'm using slack but there should be something like this in redhat... The /etc/rc.d/rc.local files is just like the autoexec in windoze. Edit it with a text editor (emacs,vi,cat.... no matter) and just add the command of samba. (like /usr/local/samba/samba or anything that start samba).
When your box will boot it will start it auto.

select system services

mark smb

save

quit
