Sound Card Driver Help

Hi everyone

Ok for some reason my suse 9.1 personal does not have the emu10k1 drivers that i need to use my sound card. So I went to sourceforge and got the drivers but I have no idea how to install them!! They are very wierd and I need somebody who is older to linux to help m,e install these drivers! So i was wondering if somebody else could download the file and maybe walk me through it?? here is the link to the website to download it, It is a very small download so I dont think that it would be much of a hassle. I would appreciate is sooo much if somebody could hekp me with this!

"You must turn on the sound support soundcore module. This is in the kernel. Look in the sound drivers directory and it should be the first option."
