sound card driver


hi,
fedora detects it as module: cs46xx , but no sound from my speakers.
where can i down sound card driver for IBM notebooks ?

What is the model number of your notebook? Or if you know it, the sound device chipset in the notebook?

Try "lspci". See what your soundcard is called...

You could check all the basic things, like mixer volumes (mute?) etc. Also check that the programs are configured for your sound system (Alsa or Oss most likely).
