They can barely develop a driver for Windows. You may be waiting a while.

I think the kernel comes with a driver for it. I remember in the kernel config there was a question about using SB Live! for MIDI.

I installed RedHat V7.1 and had no problem with recognition of my SoundBlaster Live sound card. Didn't have to do much of anything to get it working.

Unhappy is buzzing!!

after installing the card was recognized by the installation program (red hat 6.2) now it actually buzzes whenever the mouse is moving and the buzzing increases, specially when using graphic interface
is there any risk to burned the s card if used in this way?
if so ,how can i correct the problem?

Well I install Redhat 7.2 with KDE and found that my sound blaster driver wasnt working or wasnt loading properly. Spends days trying to figure it out. what you should do is use the driver that comes with the kernel. Use the lastest kernel.

There are several Live! models. I have one system with the CT4870 which requires the emu10k1 kernel module. Perhaps this site can help you: http://lhd.zdnet.com/
