Skype: Redirecting the audio over SSH?


Hi,

I am listening my friends over a network skype voip conference, on my pc in my kitchen. Skype is running in my kitchen.

I would like to send the audio (out) to my office'pc.

On way to do that is to use esddsp.

Would you know how it works for skype???

I have here a solution but for mplayer only.

although the esd stuffs installed on debian

You have searched for files named esd in suite wheezy, all sections, and all architectures. Found 2 results.

Host (kitchen):
esdsp skype ????

remote (audio playing):
esdspd -public ????
can i fetch it over mplayer on the audio player?



Isnt it posisble to stream the audio as a UDP `????? how to do taht? ffmepg????

Why? PulseAudio is actually the easiest way to achieve what you want.

let me check... where is skype:

$ dpkg -l | grep pulse
ii libpulse-browse0 0.9.21-3+squeeze1 PulseAudio client libraries (zeroconf support)

where I would like to ouput the sound:
