Question Setting up a private bittorrent server

Hi All,

I'm looking for a linux based software to setup a private bittorrent server. I did some search on this topic and got confused and not sure how to start.

Please give me some pointers/links/tips on "howto" on this topic.

what do you mean by private bittorrent server? do you want to install a server to download or do you want to install bittorrent tracker? or maybe something else?
