sendmail error 553 'DOMAIN NAME REQUIRED'


I have problem with my sendmail. The sendmail error warning says 553-Domain name required. What's wrong??

The question is *how* id you test this?
From a mailclient or from telnet to your port 25?
If you are a valid local user, does adding the "@localhost" part solve problems?
What is the syslog error exactly?
