sendmail domain error

When a user sends mail to my mail server, this error shows up in the /var/adm/messages

I have sendmail 8.12.8

Thanks in advance.

This means that you configured sendmail to reject email if the sender domain is non existant!

Normally the file should have pretty much comments. Check for sender or just search for the error string ... but you should rather fix this than removing the neccessary part from sendmail.cf ...
