I did something really wrong. I had to restart my machine and (i didnt realize it) there was a Mandrake disc , not installation, like disc 4 or 5 in the cdrom.
The computer itself (BIOS) runs, then (its an old gateway) the gateway screen comes on and it checks all the disks, cards, peripherals etc.
Well, I restarted it, this disc starts up, I wasnt in the room and it hung on the gateway screen. I tried rebooting a few times, with and without my linux install CD 1. Nothing. Windows CD-- nothing.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I hope I can fix this.
