printer

Im a linux newbie who need some help setting up an okipage 8w lite printer on a new install of rh8.0

I manged to find a driver at http://www.linuxprinting.org, download it, did make and make install.

In the man file there is an example :
oki4drv text.ps -o temp; cat temp > /dev/lp0
The above command prints out an empty page (the text.ps file does contain text).

How on earth can I setup my printer properly so that I can use it from kdevelop, writer, opera etc ?

Im also interested to know howto share this printer with an winxp machine.

Apprecite any response.
