Photographing Penguins.

http://uberhax0r.de/lixus/

I can't imagine someone being able to strip down WinXP and install it onto an Ixus. Yet another triumph for Linux portability eh? lol. I suppose it could just be some clever GIMP -ing...

It's funny Nukem should say that...

It would be kinda cool having linux on a little TFT display in a guitar.

also does it store pictures a bitmap, jpg, png, gif, com, elf what? (plz circle one and return to wal mart, were you can find poor managment in a germ infested envorinment), actuyl it would be better to see if it can take movie clips, just tell linux to take pictures as fast as it can for as long as you hold the button down

Well, the TFT screen hasn't been done (as far as I know), but Custom PC Magazine (UK) put a PC (micro-ITX, I believe) into a guitar.

But of course:
Code:
cat /dev/ccd >> /dev/flasha

Seriously, though. Wonder if this is fake or for real? What kind of CPU is inside a digital camera? If this is for real I would guess some kind of ARM. But I get the feeling that this is a little too good to be true. Seems to me that they have just photographed a monitor of something running Linux.

A PC in a guitar? Well, I for one, would think twice before smashing it up after a gig.

http://www.junkmachine.com/nintendo/6.php

There we go, a computer in a Nes. It even has a little DVD drive which comes out of the bit where you insert the cartridge!

I just had to post that little gem.

Maybe this thread should be called "computers in funny places."

eh comuters are all over the place (in tv's, microwaves, radios, virtural any electructal device has a comuter these days), so it should be called linux in funny places (i dont see windows in any place exept on supercomuters, and its still laging like a bitch)
