Hello there!

Just thought I'd drop a note, say hi, etc. I'm new to linuxquestions.org, though I'm not new to linux. I've been using penguins rather than windows for about 5-6 years now. Not quite an expert yet, I consider myself to be at the more intermediate level.

I studied geophysics (minoring in applied math) at the University of Calgary, finally obtaining my B.Sc. this year

Well, I hope that I can be of help so at least a few people here, so I'll chime in when I can.
