permission highlighting

HellO...
I've a dir for a group called public with permission 3770
and each user has a dir inside with permission 3750 files inside the same permissions
My problem is i copied some scripts from /home/me they were 0700 and was green color but after i got them in my dir under the group they took
a silly highlighted color not the same green (like the broken symlink)...

what is the relation between the file type or its permission and it's color or highlighting (like the damaged links) is there any Docs about that ...
I know already about the dir_z and regular files .....
silly problem aye ????

No distro I know bases colouring on perms but
rather on file-type. Have a look at

/etc/DIR_COLORS

Cheers,
