Pcmia


what 's the expansion of PCMIA card ,and if want to install
linux on a laptop does the PCMIA slot comes into play ..
plz guide me

I'm not sure I know what you mean by expansion of the pcmcia card, a PCMCIA card goes into the slots the size of credit cards on the side of your laptop, it's 3 or 4 times as thick as a credit card but around the same width & length, they are usually for network cards and modems.

To answer your question, NO, you dont need to worry about PCMCIA to install linux UNLESS you need to do a network install.
