Question Partitions Question

Hi!!!

I would like to know if there's any way to resize a linux partition already in use. The reason I ask this is because I've put too much space to "/" and would need to resize a little and get more space at "/home", where I have my movies and games

How would I do it? With partition magic it's no problem resizing FAT or NTFS, but does not seems it can resize Ext2/3....

Any ideas about this would be great.

Thanks

You can do this using parted. It's on your installation cds, you can also use it when you boot from installation cd in rescue mode (remember to have the / partition unmounted when you resize it).

Thanks a lot for the help mods . I'm checking out the link and planning to do also as Mara said. I've found though, this cool link in the Internet, in the case someone else search the forum for the same question I had

Thanks again
