NPX_PLUGIN_PATH error on Oracle apps on Mozilla Firefox

I know there have been several post on this topic but I'm stuck. I have searched and tried several of others solutions but I have not been able to get Oracle Application to run on my Fedora 4 system.

I have created what I think is the correct sysmbolic link and also set NPX_PLUGIN_PATH to what I believe is the correct value but I continue to get the same error message that I need to set the NPX_PLUGIN_PATH path. I have gone to several Java plugin testing sites and everything seems to work fine.

Here is what I did for the symbolic link and what I set NPX_PLUGIN_PATH to:

ibjavaplugin_oji.so -> /opt/jdk1.5.0_07/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
export NPX_PLUGIN_PATH=/opt/jdk1.5.0_07/jre/plugin/i386/ns7

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Java version and Oracle

Hi there
Rather use v1.4.2 and also check the Oracle Forums for the setup details. I should add the only way I got this to work was to install one of the developer suites, mv the JRE dir and link the plugin to this...
