Newbie a la Big Time saying Hi and small question

Hi to all, My first post here and my first Linux install, which all and all went pretty well and had little trouble setting everything up, mandrake rules . Anywhooooo, just had a small question to ask of anyone. I created two users, I don't know why I just felt like it, when using one user in terminal I have no problem starting certain games and programes but in another user when trying to start the same games or apps I get an error that says something like

Segmentation Fault

And the app or game doesn't open.

Does anyone know why this happens?? or what I can do to fix it, It's not a big problem or anything but I was just curious.
Thanks in advance, I mostly just wanted to introduce mysefelf.

a segmentation fault is a runtime error in a linux/unix program. ...is the user that can run the games root, or did you set up two non-root users?

i guess that a seg fault could occur if a game tried to link to a protected file, but it seems pretty strange that something like that would happen. we'd need a little more info about what programs you're trying to run when they segfault.
