mysql multi user env

Hey all, I am giving a friend access to phpmyadmin/mysql databases. I have a few databases in there that i dont want him to even see. So i created a user for mysql and gave them access to create tables in mysql, then all priv's on their own table.

I am new to this is there a better way to keep mysql more private, comparable to a chroot ftp environment.

Thanks

Well, only give him access to that one database or table... apparently you already did though and I would believe that is sufficient enough.
