moving the HD from hdb to hda

I recently moved my HD from hdb to hda (slave to master) so
that my computer could boot from the HD and not from a floppy.

But now I can't boot into my system because init is still looking for
everything on hdb!
( LILO is fine I switched the config file )

how do I tell the system I moved the HD?

Any advice appreciated.

You will also need to change the /etc/fstab file to reflect the new drive.
