Monitor Mode

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
With my wireless card ( ipw3945 ), the command for Monitor Mode is "modprobe ipw3945 mode=2" but when I run airodump-ng it can't set monitor mode, does it run a command? if it does can I change this so it runs "modprobe ipw3945 mode=2" instead of the normal "iwconfig eth1 mode monitor"....?
