Migrating server distro with RAID drives

Hi,

I've got the following setup

Mandriva 2006 running on a system server with the o/s on a SATA drive and there is also a software 2 disk RAID1 arrangement (md0) as the data drive. the data drive (md0) is shared over the network via SAMBA.

My question is this :

I want to upgrade the O/S from Mandriva to CentOS, I plan to buy a new Hard disk and install CentOS on this (so I have a "get out" if the upgrade goes wrong and can simply swap back over to the Mandriva disk) - will Centos auctomatically detect the md0 RAID arrangement, if not what do I have to do to make it ?

Thanks,

Andrew
